Gloucester will be looking to secure a victory on Thursday evening at Kingsholm against Agen after opening round defeat to Pau.
Johan Ackermann’s side picked up a losing bonus point away when they travelled to south-west France on Thursday, the French side [Pau] edged out the Cherry and Whites 27-21.
Owen Williams’ touchline conversion from Purdy’s try was the last kick of the game and it secured the point for the west-country side.

Gloucester did well to secure the bonus point as Pau lead 20-0 at one stage of the game thanks to tries from Daniel Ramsey and World Cup winning All Black Colin Slade.
Gloucester, finalists in the competition last year, will be hoping the point could prove decisive later in the pool stages after it had appeared they would be returning from their travels empty handed.
Williams’ last gasp kick redeemed his earlier error as his cross-field kick was intercepted by Halai who ran the length of the pitch to all but secure victory for Pau.
Ackerman’s side will more than likely remain very similar as the west-country side are struggling with injuries, currently fifteen of his senior squad are side-lined.
