England got their defence of their Under 20 Six Nations off to a bonus point win away in Italy. Tries from Ben Earl, Ben White, Tom Parton and Ben Loader helped England to a 27-17 victory in damp conditions in Gorizia. The Italians scored twice through Matteo Luccardi and a penalty try.
Whilst France came out victorious over Ireland in Bordeaux. Fly Half Romain Ntamack scored twice as France won 34-24. France secured a bonus point, scoring 5 tries, whilst Ireland leave France empty handed despite tries from Harry Byrne, Johnny Stewart and James McCarthy.
Wales’ youngsters put on a dominant performance at home to Scotland, running out 36-3 winners on Friday night in Colwyn Bay. Corey Baldwin scored a pair of tries to top the table after the first round of fixtures in the tournament.
